The Gift & The Curse is my re imagined Madonna & Child. The 20th century homage is relevant to todays culture  and more specifically tthe urban culture. The balance between knowing who you are, learning and choices single mothers face when raising boy in a society where the color his skin is potentially dangerous to his very existance.  The triangle of life through this visual interpretation.
